Gospel artist Ringtone Alex Apoko has once again found himself in the public spotlight, this time due to his reported hospitalization, which comes amid an ongoing legal saga.
The controversial singer, known for his flamboyant public persona and dramatic appearances, was recently expected to appear in court to answer to fraud charges linked to a Sh50 million land dispute.
However, he failed to attend the session, prompting a magistrate to issue a warrant for his arrest.
According to his legal representative, Ringtone’s absence was due to a sudden deterioration in his health. He was reportedly admitted to Trinity Care Centre in Ngong, where he is currently receiving treatment.
